Pop culture quizzes for the fandoms that take it seriously

Pop culture trivia divides into two quite different games. One is the broad round where the questions skim across music, television and film, and the other is the deep round about a single thing, aimed at people who have watched all of it more than once. They need to be kept apart, because a fan of one franchise finds the broad round trivially easy in their lane and impossible outside it.

The rounds here lean towards the second kind. Harry Potter, Marvel, Disney, Taylor Swift, anime and Friends each get their own quiz, pitched at someone who actually follows the thing rather than someone who has heard of it. The questions are about the material itself — what happened, who said it, how it fits together — rather than about casting news or box-office numbers.
