A word search is the most forgiving puzzle there is: no timer pressure you did not ask for, no wrong moves that cost you anything, just a grid of letters and a list of words waiting to be spotted. This one runs in your browser with a fresh grid whenever you want it, so you are never re-solving a puzzle you have already finished.
Twelve words are hidden in a thirteen-by-thirteen grid. They run in every direction the classic puzzle allows — left to right, right to left, top to bottom, bottom to top, and along both diagonals — which is what keeps a grid this size genuinely challenging rather than a two-minute scan. Words cross and share letters wherever the layout permits, so a letter you have already used for one answer may well belong to another.
To claim a word, press on its first letter and drag to its last. It works the same with a mouse, a trackpad or a fingertip, and the trail highlights as you go so you can see exactly what you are selecting before you commit. Release on the wrong cell and nothing happens — there is no penalty and no wrong-answer counter, so you can sweep the grid freely while you hunt. Found words lock into place in the grid and strike through in the list below it.
A timer runs from your first touch, and the finish card tells you how long the grid took. It is there for people who like racing themselves; if that is not you, ignore it entirely — nothing about the puzzle changes. Press "New puzzle" at any point and the generator lays out the same twelve words in a completely different arrangement, which means the same word list stays playable indefinitely.
